DOG FOOD NEEDED AT ALL HEART PET RESCUE

All Heart Pet Rescue in Powassan is not only the township pound for East Ferris but also an animal shelter used by many cities across Ontario.  Therefore the internet name; Ontario Pet Rescue.  In the last six months we have taken in overflow or excess dogs and cats that might have faced euthanasia had we not been available. Some of the towns/cities include:
North Bay, Greater Sudbury area, New Liskeard , Kapuskasing , Sturgeon Falls , Windsor, Toronto Animal Services, Lakeshore dog pound near Sarnia, Quinte Humane Society- Belleville, Moose Factory, Alliston and Garden Village.
We currently have a record high number of dogs in our care and are in need of dog food. We feed aproximatly 40 pounds of food a day which amounts to 1200 pounds of food per month.  We ask Stores not to throw out their outdated food as it is used by the shelter for the animals.  Also, we appreciate office people that have collected enough money to be able to buy a bag of food a month as well.  Drop off areas for food in North Bay are: Precious Paws Doggie Daycare Inn on Regina street near Rebuilt Resources, or you can purchase food at Pet Valu in the North Bay Mall as we pick up food every 2 weeks from them.  Every little bit makes a difference.
