Carly in the Afternoon

Weekdays 2:00pm to 7:00pm

I’ll keep you company during your afternoon! when I’m not hanging out and talking to my little shi-poo Strudel I’m dishing on the latest celebrity gossip and counting the abs on Matthew McConaughey’s body. I grew up in the small town of Keswick, Ontario with 3 brothers who are responsible for my fear of snakes! But that doesn’t stop me from breathing the fresh air of North Bay whether it’s snowmobiling hitting the slopes or spending time on the lake!

David Beckham Announces Retirement- what will we do?!

Posted on by carly.weidauer

Grab a tissue! David Beckham has announced he is retiring from his soccer career after this season. What will us sports girls do?! If you’re like me and you need to scrounge up a little effort to get deep into sports like soccer…today is a sad day! It’s attractive men like David that convince us that the sports channel MUST be left on. Something about muscular men running around like Greek Olympic Gods that just keeps you coming back for more! Let’s just hope David doesn’t retire from his underwear model career. That would be…so sad.
David Beckham, seen celebrating after PSG's win on Sunday, also starred in England, Spain and North America.

Taking a “selfie” is impressively dangerous

Posted on by carly.weidauer

Have you ever taken a “selfie”? Rays reporter Kelly Nash wanted to show her friends and family back home the cool place she was working at so she took a photo of herself. The team was in the middle of practice and Kelly almost got beaned! Thanks to this baseball, Kelly was recently invited on Good Morning America to tell the story. However…some people think the photo is a good case of “photo-shop”. What do you think?

Arthur in bed
When you’re single or if your husband is away on business it’s tough being lonely! No worries…the cure is here. Your very own Knitted Boyfriend, thanks to a Dutch designer. It’s a customized man shaped pillow. You can request a nice big smile, mustache, glasses whatever reminds you of your lover.  What a great idea! I can’t wait to order one. At least if he gets on your nerves you can throw this guy in the wash and he’ll come out good as new! If only this worked on real men!!
