North Bay Police reporting 2 people, a young male and a female were arrested in the Jane Street area early Friday morning for trespassing by night.  It’s alleged a search turned up break-in tools, a prohibited weapon and property reported stolen from a recent break and enter in the area.  The investigation continues.  Meantime, Police are investigating a break-in to a Hwy 63 residence on October 30th.  Headphones, a computer, a laptop and video game system were stolen.

North Bay Police are advising the public about not giving any personal or financial information to anyone by phone, computer or in person.  They say don’t do it unless you initiated the contact and know who and why you are dealing with them.  This after a North Bay woman received two phone calls saying she was a big winner from Readers Digest.  She was told she had to pay tax on the winnings and supplied debit card information.   Police say the card has been cancelled with no loss.
