The Capitol Centre’s wine gala is less than a week away.

Wine Gala coordinator Lyndsey Furlong says it will be held Saturday night.  In the meantime, there is an online auction which will be underway from now until 5 pm on Friday and again on Wine Gala night. Furlong says there are three big items up for bids They include a bar and stools set from McQueen’s Furniture, a snow thrower from Canadian Tire and a private screening at the Capitol Centre for 960 of your friends or clients. They’ve added a ‘buy-it-now’ feature where bidders can purchase the items. For information on the auction and the gala go to www.capitolcentre.org The theme of the wine gala is renaissance and people attending will be wearing costumes to support that theme.
