After a tough loss on Friday night the Lakers were able to bounce back with a 6-3 win over the Ryerson Rams yesterday. The game was played at Maple Leafs Gardens and the Lakers came out sluggish, falling behind 3-1 in the second period. After a time out the Lakers responded on goals by Vern Cooper (7) and Kevin Rebello made it 3-3 with his 3rd goal of the year. In the third period the Lakers broke away on goals by Connor O’Donnell (4) Sam Hopewell (2) and Cooper’s 2nd of the game. The win moves the Lakers to 3-4 on the year, and they will host the Western Mustangs next Friday.
