It was a hard fought battle but the Nipissing Lakers came out on the losing end of a 3-2 contest to the U of T Blues. The Lakers fell behind early 2-0 but then rallied to tie the game. However, the Blues would pull away with a late goal in the third period. Dan Spence was named the games top star stopping 51 of 54 shots.
